This beautiful and remarkable hand carved elephant is made of ebony wood. Approximately 8 inches / 20 cm in height and weighs under a kilo. A really artistic piece that takes approximately 2 weeks to make.  This is not the usual hand carved elephant, alot of work has been done in order to produce this beautiful collectors item.  You can see both front, back and sides of the elephant very beautiful and fine carving has been done. Ebony has a long history of use, with carved pieces having been found in “Ancient Egypt” tombs.
