3 nice old hardback books from the 1850's. These were part of a larger series of books by Washington Irving. They are former library books, with the dewey decimal number on a white sticker on the bottom of the spine. There is also a library stamp on the inside. The pages are all complete and in good reading condition. They have spots of discoloration throughout, especially near the front and back pages. The titles are "The Humorist, by Geoffrey Crayon" , "Astoria, Anecdotes of an Enterprise Beyond the Rockie Mountains", which still has a 165 year old map inside the front cover, and "The Alhambra" .
Even if you don't like to read, these look really nice on the shelf.
