Hank Williams Rare Takes & Radio Cuts, 1984 PolyGram Records
Rare Takes and Radio Cuts represents the first album containing previously unissued performances by Hank Williams to be released by PolyGram since the 1976 album of selections titled Live At The Grand Ole Opry.
For "rare takes" we present a collection of five songs: "Honky Tonk Blues," "I'd Still Want You," and "My Son Calls Another Man Daddy," all from MGM recording sessions done on different dates than the originally released versions: "Crazy Heart," an alternate take from the same date as the original issue; and "Honky Tonkin'," a rare performance from Hank Williams's second recording session for Sterling Records.
"Radio cuts" are also represented by five titles: "Little Paper Boy," a 1949 recording from Hank's radio program in Shreveport; and "I Saw The Light'" "Lovesick Blues," "Mind Your Own Business" and "Pan American," all from the ephemeral Health And Happiness Show series.
This combination of "rare takes and radio cuts" offers a further exciting glimpse into the career of Hank Williams, the all-time king of the honky tonk genre of country music.

This album appears to have been played and does have some scratches that are visible. I have no way of testing whether it will play fine on a phonograph....therefore it is being sold "As is"...however it would possibly make a great addition for the vinyl record collector....and it very possibly might play perfectly fine.
